This is how the story of Cleo continues (by Gracie, grade 1). You can read the first part of Cleo’s story here.
We went to the park to to play on the playground. My favorite part is sliding down the slide. While I was at the park, I met a new best friend, Becca. We went to McDonnald’s and ate chicken nuggets. They were really good. After we left we went back to the park and we slid down the slide again.
My favorite thing to do in the summer is swim. So when we left the park we went to a water park. At the water park we slid down water slides and played in the water. After we were done swimming, we went and got something to snack on. We had my favorites, grape juice with a chicken sandwich. When we finished our snack we went to Sonic and got a slushy, then we went home and played with my Hello Kitty toy. Then my friend brought over a water slide and we played all day. Then we all went home and went to sleep.
When we woke up it was Easter. The Easter bunny gave us a lot of toys and candy. Then we hid some Easter eggs with candy inside them. Then when we came back inside the Easter bunny got me a puppy. I named him Ciara. Then I went over to my friends house, Becca, and said “come look at my new puppy named Ciara!” After that we went to the store to get my puppy some dog food and dog treats. Then we went to my house and fed my puppy some dog food.
While we were at the store we bought it some toys and a new collar and leash. My puppy was so happy that we got him some dog food and some toys because he is very playful and was very hungry. Then when we all went home and went to sleep. I slept with my new puppy and when I woke up I had a kitten in my living room. But when the dog woke up the dog chased the kitten around the house so I had to get rid of my new puppy Ciara because he was chasing the cat around the house.
