This post was originally published in 2012 but we love the Social Justice Project and wanted to revisit some of these great stories.
This is how the story of Dorothy Day begins (by Jocelyn, elementary).
I was many of women who fought for our rights. I was born in the year 1897. I was born at a time when women couldn’t vote. Next, I wanted to help. I wanted women to be equal to men. I wanted men to know that women could do the same things they did. Finally I fought and fought with other women till the end.
I changed the world, I made a big impact on the world.
I am Dorthy Day.
To be continued…
