This post was originally published in 2012 but we love the Social Justice Project and wanted to revisit some of these great stories.
This is how the story of Martin Luther King Jr. begins (by Rodolfo, elementary).
I am the “Father of the Civil Rights Movement”!
First, I was born January 15th, 1927. I was a in a little house when I was born. I was smart and was one who got the Nobel Peace Prize. The Nobel Peace Prize that is! I won money and then donated it. Finally, I fought for freedom. I was trying to get people to have equal rights and end segregation.
My dream almost came to light while I was living.
I am the great leader Martin Luther King Jr.
To be continued…
