This post was originally published in 2012 but we love the Social Justice Project and wanted to revisit some of these great stories.
This is how the story of Upton Sinclair begins (by Ta’Jeon, elementary).
There are a lot of artists but I think I am the best! First, I published over 100 books. I was a good author who wrote good books. I loved writing books!
Next, my house was turned into a bank so I was homeless. Then, my family lost their house. Finally, I got married. I got marries and had a son. My wife and I wrote books together. A famous book I wrote was “The Jungle.”
The intention of “The Jungle” is the portrayal of the life of the immigrant in the United States. Readers learned of the corruption of the American meat packing industry during the beginning of the 20th century. I am Upton Sinclair.
To be continued…
