REPOSTING: Upton Sinclair

This post was originally published in 2012 but we love the Social Justice Project and wanted to revisit some of these great stories.

This is how the story of Upton Sinclair begins (by Jose, elementary).

I was born in September 20, 1878. I was an American author and a one-time candidate for governor of California. Next, I wrote close to one hundred books. Then, I used my earnings from my book “The Jungle” to create a commune dedicated to my principles. Finally I won the Pulitzer Prize.

Later, in 2007 my book “Oil” was adapted into the film “There be Blood.”

I am Upton Sinclair!

To be continued…
