Penelope Takes a Cruise

This is how the story of Penelope Giggles continues (by Cristy C.). You can read the earlier chapters of Penelope’s life here:

Penelope Giggles finally packed her bags and left for her much deserved vacation to the Bahamas. She left Gideon, MO on Saturday May 5th and spent the night in Orlando, Florida. She stayed at the Sheraton where the bed was so comfy.

Comfy bed!

It was so comfortable, in fact, that Penelope didn’t want to leave.

The next morning she boarded the Carnival Sensation Cruise Ship for a few days of relaxation. Penelope had a wonderful time.

She was greeted by the ships very friendly staff. The food on the ship was simply delicious. The views of the ocean were beautiful beyond words. Penelope often woke up to catch the morning sunrise. When she finally arrived on the beach at Freeport, Bahamas Penelope could not resist wading in the ocean. After catching a few waves, she walked about the beach looking for seashells and then decided to work on her tan a little while she lounged on the white, sandy beach.

Working on my tan.

Penelope enjoyed watching all the people on the beach playing and lounging around. In particular, she noticed a little girl playing in the water. The little girl seemed to be having such a wonderful time splashing about. Penelope decided to get a closer look and moved to the rocks near the little girl. Penelope spent the rest of her afternoon watching the little girl and the others while she rested on the rocks with hopes that someone would come play with her.

To be continued…
