Water Bridge Goes to Michigan

This is how the story of Water Bridge continues (by Allison S.,). You can read the first part of this story here.

I left Rogers Minnesota on Friday July 19th and arrived in South Haven, Michigan on July 20th. As I arrived I found a huge beautiful lake and rolled up to a house that has been around for 110 years and to this day is full of people all summer long. I couldn’t help but roll down to the beach and go swimming but I sunk like a “rock.” I tried body surfing but it didn’t work so instead I sat on the beach and baked for a while. Then I joined the family of thirty people and had some Shermans ice cream, which you don’t go to South Haven without eating the infamous Shermans ice cream. For many years all of the cousins in this big cottage would go searching for big rocks like me and sit in their “breakfast room” and paint them so I knew I was with a good family. Perhaps I’ll meet some more painters.
