Runaway Nose

This is how the story of Mr. NoNose begins (by Mr. NoNose, grade 4).

Once upon a time there was a man named Mr.NoNose. Mr.NoNose was a kind man until it came to his nose.

One time, when he was a young child, Mr.NoNose had hated his nose because it helped him taste his most not-favorite-food-in-the-whole-wide-world: peas and broccoli. So when he was at school playing on the playground (he was only in kinder) he tried to break his nose so he would not be able to taste his least favorite food.

One night Mr.NoNose’s nose popped right off to go somewhere he would be treated right. So the nose set off on its journey to find someone who would appreciate him. When Mr.NoNose woke up, he never noticed his nose was missing.
