This is how the story of PHF23 begins (by AD, grade 6).
“Good Night Jane, hopefully you will have sweet dreams,” said Grandpa Jefferson.
“No, wait. Please tell me a story before I go to Bed,” screamed Jane.
Grandpa Jefferson replied: “Ok so…..
Once upon a time, there lived an old lady, her name was Ms. Birty and each year she planted three pear trees and ate all the pears on the 5th of September. This lasted for five years, but then something mysterious happened. Each time, as she was about to eat all the pears, they were all stolen! But who stole them? What really happened?
Ms. Birty was sad, but thought that that the pears would have just fallen down somewhere and that this would have been an accident. She was wrong, each year all pears disappeared mysteriously. And so Ms. Birty came to the conclusion that it was somehow Mr. Mysterious!
The end next time I will tell you the last part of the story. Good Night,” whispered Grandpa Jefferson.
To be continued…
