This is how the story of Scotty begins (by Anouk, grade 6).
I’m a dog and my name is Scotty. I am a cute little dog and I love to save people/kids that are in danger. I’m very careful with what I do and where I do it.
My last experience was this:I passed a house with a big balcony and saw a cat on it. Suddenly she saw a bird and tried to run after it. So she went through the railing very fast and fell down. I ran as fast as I could and caught her with my back. I was so happy that I was able to save the cat. A little bird flew away and then I noticed that the cat wasn’t moving. She was so shocked that she died, sadly. It was very sad but I was still happy that I could catch her and that I tried my best.
I was on my way to look for another person in danger that I could save. So I walked and walked and nothing happened. I decided to go into the woods to look if someone was there needing my help. Suddenly I heard someone screaming and I looked where it came from. It got dark and it sounded like many kids where screaming. Then suddenly I saw kids and their parents having a pizza party and I felt relieved. But then I saw a little girl climbing up a tree and she fell backwards. I ran as fast as I could and caught her at the last second! I got some pizza pieces and everything was fine.
… to be continued.
