This is how the story of Ray begins (by Pencil Wielder, grade 4).
One day Ray was making donuts and selling them.
“Yes, 20 dollars! Not bad for 10 minutes. Donuts are the best.”
Just then across the street a rock robber ran across the street into the shop. Ray said, “Um hello would you like a chocolate donu…”
The Rock Robber said, “NOOO give me your cash.”
Ray said, “what? No never!”
The Rock Robber said, “ok then I’ll do it the hard way. Soapy water gets rid of paint – faces in seconds.”
Ray exclaimed, “NOOOO NO NO OK ok I’ll give you the money.”
Rock Robber ran out of shop.
“9,1,1. Hello what’s your emergency.”
Ray said “Um…”
“Just wait a moment…” (elevator music)
Ray said, “ok um a Rock Robber stole my cash, catch him!!”
“Well hopefully the cops catch him.”
A Rock Worker came in. “Hey,” said Ray. “Here take these 20 dollars.” The Rock Worker said, “thanks” and left.
“Well I might as well go home.”
Later the next morning.
“Hello Ray,” said the tired Rock Police. “We caught him, but it took all night to find him.”
Ray said, “Hey, that’s not him that’s one of my workers I paid him last night.”
