(Red Oak) -- One of the most decorated careers in KMAland tennis history was officially recognized on Friday night.

Kirk Schuler, a four-time state tennis runner-up, was inducted into the KMA Sports Hall of Fame between games of the Red Oak/Shenandoah basketball doubleheader.

Schuler, who also captured a co-ed state tennis title with teammate Micki Piller, went on to play tennis at Drake University before playing soccer professionally for the Northern Mariana Islands.

KMA's Trevor Maeder was on hand to present the award to Schuler, who talked with KMA Sports in the video below.
