My Fantabulous Electric Scooter

This is the story of Clara (by M.M., first grade).

On Sunday, Clara decided to have a picnic at the lake. Me and my sister and Clara bought chips. Our puppy that we were babysitting came too. Me and my sister and Clara rode our pink electric scooters. On one of the handles there is a button that says “twist.” Once you start the scooter, twist the button and you go. The scooters are fast. I felt happy because I had so much fun! And my favorite part was when we were riding our scooters. That was the best day of my life. I hoped that we could go again.

To be continued…

  1. This sure sounds like a wonderful day. I loved that you gave me all those details about your scooter, it made it easier for me to imagine what it was like and what it felt like to be riding the scooter. 🙂

  2. Clara is really cool. This is a great story.
I could just picture everyone on their scooters
    at the lake.
