Meeting Someone New

This is how the story of Cleo continues (by Skyelyn, grade 6). You can read the earlier chapters of her story here:

One day while I was chasing some chickens, this girl and her mom came over to see my grandma. I went over to the girl and introduced myself. I said,” Hi my name is Cleo. What’s your name?” The girl replied,” Hi Cleo, my name is Harold Leuetta Bone III. Do you what to go play?” I replied,” Sure.”

Harold Luetta Bone III

After Harold Leuetta Bone III and her mom left my grandma yelled,”Cleo, time to come in.” When I came in, supper was on the table.

After I finished eating, Grandma and I went into the living room and started to knit. Before I went to bed, Grandma brushed my long hair. While she was brushing it she said,”You have the prettiest eyes.”

That morning when I woke up I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror and screamed. My grandma ran into the bathroom and asked,”Whats wrong?” I replied,”I don’t have any hair!”

To be continued…
