REPOSTING: Martin Luther King Jr.

This post was originally published in 2012 but we love the Social Justice Project and wanted to revisit some of these great stories.

This is how the story of Martin Luther King Jr. begins (by Anthony, elementary).

I did a lot for the fair treatment of all people. First, I started the boycott. Blacks didn’t ride the bus. I started it because the Jim Crow laws were unfair.

Next, I gave my “I Have a Dream” speech. I did it to tell the country what I think our country should be. It gave blacks courage that they could make a change.

Finally I received the Nobel Peace Prize for my nonviolent work. Today I am honored with a National holiday.

I am Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
